Hello there! It has been a long and hot summer, so like most of us in Austin I’ve been staying indoors through the brunt of it. However with it being officially fall now, the days are cooling and it’s time to start planning another event for the creek!
We are going to coordinate with TreeFolks to do a Ready Set Plant! event in the trails behind Kilmartin Ln. This will follow up on the work done last year to clear out space in the mesquite grove, allowing us to plant more a diverse selection of trees in their place. Currently the date being planned is:
November 18, 2023
As TreeFolks secure funding and finalize the date, I will update again and get an event sign-up going.
